From the rugged mountains and sprawling deserts to the bustling towns and tranquil coastlines, BCSO's A.SU. is a vital asset in ensuring public safety and effective law enforcement.

BCSO A.S.U boasts a versatile fleet of helicopters, each equipped for a range of missions:
Patrol & Surveillance: Offering a unique vantage point, our helicopters patrol vast areas, deterring criminal activity, monitoring traffic, and providing real-time intelligence to ground units. Equipped with advanced camera systems, our Air Support Unit's can effectively track suspects, locate missing persons, and assess critical situations.
Search & Rescue: Blaine County's varied landscape presents unique challenges for search and rescue operations. "Parakeet 1" plays a crucial role in locating lost hikers, stranded motorists, and other individuals in distress, often in remote and inaccessible areas.
Tactical Operations: When required our A.S.U supports tactical teams during high-risk operations, providing aerial surveillance, command and control platforms, and rapid deployment capabilities. Our helicopters are equipped for fast-roping and other specialized maneuvers.
